Here is Blackberry’s Last Self-Developed Android Phone

Back in September, Blackberry announced that it was putting an end to developing its own smartphones internally. The company announced that it would start relying on partners to manufacture its devices. This is coming after Blackberry’s disappointing sales record with the Priv.

However, it seems the company still has one more device to release codenamed “Mercury.” This was confirmed last month by the company’s CEO in an interview by Bloomberg. Much hasn’t been revealed about the device but a leaked photo on Chinese social network Weibo gives a closer look at the smartphone.
The traditional QWERTY keyboard is present and these look very much like physical buttons. Unlike the slide-out keyboard on Blackberry Priv, Blackberry Mercury seems to have a fixed keyboard.
Rumored specifications include 3GB RAM, a 4.5 -inch full HD screen, a 2.0GHz octa-core Qualcomm processor, an 18MP primary facing camera and an 8MP front-facing shooter.
For now, nothing is certain, there is no official image yet and the rumored specifications are unconfirmed. We may have to wait until Blackberry comes through with its last internally developed Android phone.
